The accident
Reports indicate that the incident occurred at around 1 p.m. on a recent Friday. Authorities indicate that for reasons that remain under investigation, the driver of a truck suddenly lost control and overturned his vehicle. They advised that he was transporting a load of concrete bags and that several of these bags fell off the side of the overpass and hit a car below.
According to reports, some of these concrete bags crashed through the front windshield of the car and hit the driver. Authorities say that she suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
